How the AI Responder works
The AI Responder monitors your Google Business Profile, writes a unique reply to each new review, and posts it through the official Google API. Star-based routing decides what auto-posts and what waits for your approval. This page explains detection, generation, routing rules, and the reply queue.
Review detection
Replora connects to your Google Business Profile with OAuth 2.0 and monitors it continuously. New reviews are detected within seconds, and their language and sentiment are identified before any reply is drafted.
Reply generation
Each reply is generated fresh from the review's actual content, your business context, and your configured tone (friendly, professional, or formal — per location). Replies reference specifics from the review rather than using templates, and are written in the review's language.
Generation uses Google Gemini via Vertex AI. Only the review text and your tone settings are sent to the model — no reviewer personal data and no account credentials.
Routing rules
You decide what happens per star rating, per location. A common configuration: 4–5 star reviews auto-post immediately; 3 star reviews are drafted and held for approval; 1–2 star reviews are escalated with complaint analysis attached (issue type, severity, recurring theme, suggested action).
The reply queue
Escalated reviews wait in a queue with their AI drafts. You can edit and post, approve as-is, or configure a delay after which queued replies auto-post. Every low-star review also creates a complaint record, so public feedback feeds the same tracking workflow as calls and private feedback.
